How to Configure Auto Close Mail After Reply or Forward in Outlook

Microsoft Outlook is used for manage Mails,Contacts ,Calender etc works in routine life.

Outlook have some good shortcuts which can be helpful during Reading mails ,Forwarding mail or Replying mails.

One thing I Observed and may be you also observed that after forwarding mails or Reply any mails from outlook we have to close manually open mails. some times this work irritating us.so here is one tips for this issue.

How to Configure Auto Close Mail After Reply or Forward in Outlook:

Microsoft Outlook have inbuilt option that can be close mails after reply or forward.

Lets see how to enable this configuration in Microsoft outlook.

Follow Below Given Steps:

  • Open Microsoft outlook.
  • Go to File Menu which is available in Ribbon menu at top corner left side.
  • In File Menu Click on Options.
  • Now In Options Tab Choose Mail sub menu.

Outlook Options

  • Now Scroll down from right side pane up to Replies and Forwards Menu.
  • Enable “Original Message window when Replying or Forwarding “option.
  • Click on OK.

Now Henceforth When you Forward any Mails or Reply Any mails Original message will be closed automatically.
